There are so many activities and events to attend in Bournemouth. Whatever the weather, there is something for everyone. Even if it’s raining outside!
IF YOU LOVE ADVENTURE:
Bournemouth Zip Line £15-19 per person.
Situated on the pier, this thrill-seeking zip wire will send your adrenaline levels through the roof, provide your very eyes with an overview of Bournemouth’s entire seafront and leave you feeling like you can achieve anything. As I have experienced the ride for myself, I can assure you that it truly does offer you a memorable experience like never before. The only downfall is that it only lasts ten seconds, but the breath-taking views make up for it. Being the only beach that has its own zip line, you won’t want to leave Bournemouth without trying it out. Allowing two people to go down the line at a time, you can try to race your friends and family down it!
IF YOU’RE ON A FAMILY DAY OUT:
Rock Reef Activities £5-22 per person.
Based on the famous walkway of Bournemouth, the Rock Reef centre on the pier gives you access to all sorts of heart-pumping fun. This involves rock-climbing, as well as a drop slide that will leave you at the high end of your adrenaline levels. An inside cave is also available for all of you explorers out there. The leap of faith inside the centre will have your friends and family cheering you on when you catch the bag.
IF IT’S A RAINY DAY/NIGHT:
The BIC – Bournemouth International Centre Prices subject to events.
This place of entertainment is guaranteed to leave any customers with a smile. If any singers, bands, comedians (you name it) are performing live in Bournemouth, you will definitely find them here. With upcoming and past live performances by Bastille, Neyo, Jimmy Carr, Russell Howard, and much more, you can experience seeing your favourite artists. The venue’s sound system is sure to have you singing, laughing or dancing the night away.
Oceanarium £0-10.95pp.
A great place for animal-lovers. This place will take you into a world of all the sea creatures you can think of, including those oh-so-huge sharks that will provide you with an unforgettable experience. They can swim really close to the glass, giving you the chance to focus on every little detail of the dolphins and water turtles
IF YOU HAVE A BUDGET:
Bournemouth Beach Free.
Oh, that sandy beach, allowing you to relax by the sound of waves. Bring your friends, or just bring yourself, read a good book and listen to music. Sorted. Whatever your age, you can’t not love this beach. It’s a great place to lose yourself and immerse in your thoughts. With this day and age being so heavily involved in social media/technology, you can escape here to wind down peacefully. Got an assignment to finish without any distractions? This beach is the place to go anytime of year.
