Undie Run- Cancer Research

There will be an ‘Undie Run’ tomorrow (Friday 24th) in aid of Cancer Research UK.

The run will start at sportBU at 1pm with a zumba warm up and then runners will go to the Wallisdown Recreation Field and back in their underwear, all in aid of charity.

The Bournemouth run is one of 31 events up and down the country which are being organised by Stand Up To Cancer.

80-100 runners are expected to don their best undies or fancy dress and run the 1km course, with a trip to Dylan’s bar afterwards to relax.

This is the first Undie Run at Bournemouth University and has been organised by Jade Clarke alongside Students Kick Cancer, in association with Stand Up To Cancer.

The Bournemouth Rock will be bringing you coverage of the event on the day.

Everyone is encouraged to join the event and can just turn up on the day and donate £5 to the cause by texting ‘BUUR50 £5’ to 70070 or setting up a justgiving page, and register online at http://www.theundierun.co.uk/ in advance to donate more.
