Bournemouth student is raising money for Macmillan Cancer with 24 hour gaming stream

By Naomi Doddridge

A student at Bournemouth University is raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support but in a slightly different way…

Charlie Holley is in his first year studying Science Technology and tomorrow (Friday 28th) he is going to attempt to complete a 24-hour gaming stream.

The gaming will aim to start at around 10am on Friday and will be streamed on Twitch for the whole 24 hours.

Charlie will be playing games such as Stardew Valley, RimWorld, Fallout 4 and many, many more.

The money from the stream will go to Macmillan Cancer which is a charity which is very close to Charlie’s heart. “They were brilliant help when my Mum was diagnosed and I believe that it is imperative that the support is available for people in the same situation.”

Charlie is hoping to reach his target of £875 for his chosen charity, to donate CLICK HERE.
